Scheduled
NOW AVAILABLE FOR A ONE WEEK TESTING PERIOD.

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, the CILogon Service at https://cilogon.org/ and https://cilogon.aaf.edu.au/ will be updated to OA4MP v5.4.2 (OIDC back-end) and PHP Service v2.2.0 (web front-end). Please see the following for release notes:

* https://github.com/cilogon/cilogon-java/releases/tag/v5.4.2
* https://github.com/ncsa/oa4mp/releases/tag/v5.4.2
* https://github.com/cilogon/service/releases/tag/2.2.0
* https://github.com/cilogon/service-lib/releases/tag/2.2.0

Additionally, the https:// endpoints for all services, including COmanage Registry and SAML proxies, will be updated to support TLS 1.3.

The update is currently available for public testing at:

* https://test.cilogon.org/
* https://test.cilogon.aaf.edu.au/
* https://demo-test.cilogon.org/
* https://demo-test.cilogon.aaf.edu.au/

Given that the last service update was August 2023, we HIGHLY recommend OIDC clients verify functionality before January 18 by setting the discovery endpoint to the appropriate CILogon TEST instance (e.g., https://test.cilogon.org/.well-known/openid-configuration). See https://www.cilogon.org/oidc for more information.

Please report any issues you find to help@cilogon.org .
