CILogon Service Update - OA4MP v6.3

Scheduled - NOW AVAILABLE FOR A TWO WEEK TESTING PERIOD

On Monday, October 26, 2026 at 5PM Eastern for North American subscribers, Tuesday October 27, 2026 at 8AM Australia Eastern, the CILogon Service at https://cilogon.org/ will be updated to OA4MP v6.3 (OAuth2/OIDC back-end).

The focus of the v6.3 release is deploying support for issuer key rotation, both issuer-wide and and by virtual issuer. Other bugfixes and internal refactoring are included in this release.

Update - Full Tier subscriber registries are still being updated subscriber by subscriber. Essential Tier registries are now up. Please test functionality in your environment and report any issues to help@cilogon.org.

Update - CILogon login and web services are now operating normally. COManage Registries are being restored one subscriber at a time and updated to Registry v4.6.1 as part of this process. We will notify each subscriber directly when their instance is complete.
