NOW AVAILABLE FOR A ONE WEEK TESTING PERIOD.

On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, the CILogon Service at https://cilogon.org/ and https://cilogon.aaf.edu.au/ will be updated to OA4MP v5.3.5. This release addresses a bug in the Basic tier OIDC client registration endpoint (https://cilogon.org/oauth2/register) which prevents the web form from being submitted. This issue does not affect paid subscribers.

The update is currently available for public testing on https://test.cilogon.org/ , https://test.cilogon.aaf.edu.au/ , https://demo-test.cilogon.org/ , and https://demo-test.cilogon.aaf.edu.au/ . We recommend OIDC clients verify functionality before August 15 by setting the discovery endpoint to the appropriate CILogon TEST instance (e.g., https://test.cilogon.org/.well-known/openid-configuration). See https://www.cilogon.org/oidc for more information.

Until the update is deployed on production https://cilogon.org/ , the OIDC client registration endpoint https://cilogon.org/oauth2/register will redirect to https://test.cilogon.org/oauth2/register to enable OIDC client registration for Basic Authentication users.
