CILogon Service Update - registry.cilogon.org Dec 16, 2025 06:00-07:00 CST

NOW AVAILABLE FOR A 14 DAY TESTING PERIOD.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 6:00 AM America/Chicago, the CILogon
COmanage Registry service at https://registry.cilogon.org/ will be
updated to version 4.5.1 from version 4.3.5. There will be an outage
lasting approximately 15 minutes during the upgrade.

The update is currently available for public testing at
https://registry-test.cilogon.org.

We recommend CO administrators test enrollment flows and conduct

Scheduled - NOW AVAILABLE FOR A THREE WEEK TESTING PERIOD.

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, the CILogon Service at https://cilogon.org/ and https://cilogon.aaf.edu.au/ will be updated to PHP Service v3.1.0 (web front-end).

This release includes the following updates:

* Internationalization (i18n) (multi-language) support for CILogon Subscribers
* Additional "id" attributes in HTML elements for easier modification via CSS
* Log messages as JSON objects
* Log "admin_id" and "admin_name" for OIDC clients created by COmanage Registry

CILogon partial outage
Resolved - On December 3, 2025, 8:04p - 8:09p (Central time), https://cilogon.org experienced a partial outage which prevented some users from logging on. The cluster recovered automatically, and we added an another instance of the web front-end process.
